All good things come to an end right. After spending a week in what is basically a paradise it’s now time to return home to the hustle and bustle of daily life.
As much as a vacation is an amazing feeling, and you can really distance yourself mentally and get into a true state of relaxation, it’s nice to come home. By the end of every vacation, I always feel ready to come home. As strange as it is I end up missing work. I don’t feel like I’m getting bogged down, or worried about the amount of work piling up, I just eventually start to miss the day to day hustle and bustle I’m used to once I’ve spent a couple days relaxing.
If you truly love what you do like I do, I’d think that you too may end up missing the satisfaction you get from a job well done after a solid week of leaving your mind completely at ease. This week of not a worry on my mind, and never without a cold drink in my hand has left me fully relaxed, fully recharged, and ready to come back at full strength and not risk burning out anytime soon.
If you can’t step back and relax and enjoy some time to yourself, then you should. It’ll inevitably help you along your own Climb to Success.
Until next time,
AM
